Yanis Goal an Adventure in Learning

TOC Thinking Skills for Children--Yani's Goal
Raft to Island Yani's Goal is an adventure story about a little fellow who takes on the task of rescuing his Queen.  Even with great uncertainty, he sets out for the island where she is held captive.  Along the way Yani learns the Theory of Constraints Thinking Processes that help him overcome his obstacles and rescue the Queen.

The colorful format makes the story appealing to children.  The sound can be toggled on or off so that children can listen to the story or read it aloud.

During the adventure, Yani confronts many obstacles.  Each time he encounters an obstacle he also meets new friends who teach him one of the thinking process tools.
Yani and Needs Here Yani is learning the Evaporating Cloud tool and learning the difference between what he wants and what he needs.

During his adventure, Yani also learns the Branch tool for examining the Consequences of his ideas and actions and the Ambitious Target tool for helping him achieve difficult goals.

TOC Thinking Skills for Children is available in two formats--for individual or school wide use.  Locate them in our online catalog.  You can purchase Yani's Goal in the U.S. from Halliburton Associates or outside the U.S, from Accelerated Learning Systems in the U.K.
