Background and Experience

Cal works to bring the creative methods of the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) to business, secondary schools, and universities. Cal is a certified I-TRIZ professional and a JONAH trained by Eli Goldratt, the creator of the Theory of Constraints.
Halliburton has three decades of experience teaching, consulting, training, and delivering seminars in a variety of creative methods of teaching and learning. He has served on the board of directors of several educational organizations and served as a member of the Iowa State Board of Educational Examiners.
Halliburton Associates is prepared to deliver custom designed seminars, training programs, and workshops on the Theory of Constraints (TOC), Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ), creative technologies, quality enhancement methods, and team building.
Cal also works with the Iowa Partners in Learning to develop the capacity of communities to deliberate on vital issues and decide together what they will do. The Partners in Learning convene, moderate, and organize public policy institutes under the auspices of the National Issues Forums, a program of the Kettering Foundation.

Jeff Halliburton is Vice-President of Operations for the University Cooperative in Austin, Texas. He also has eighteen years experience in the retail sales business as a co-owner of Skunk River Cycles in Ames, Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and is a certified JONAH* of the Avraham Goldratt Institute. Jeff has completed the Management Skills Workshop and the Goldratt Institute's Odyssey program.
Jeff's practical business experience and training in the skillful application of the tools of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) give him special insight to the problems encountered in business-to-business and business-to-customer relations. He knows that building and maintaining good relationships is a key to business success. He also recognizes that all relationships change over time and that the partners in those relationships need powerful skills to maintain them. Jeff knows the amount of desire, dedication, and hard work that go into making a successful main street business or in managing a large corporation.
